BEAU GREAVES MAKES HISTORY AS WESSEL NIJMAN EXTENDS PRO TOUR DOMINANCE

Wessel Nijman has cemented his place at the top of the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit after capturing his seventh Pro Tour title in seven months, with five of those coming in the early months of the 2026 season. The 25-year-old from Uitgeest defeated Scott Williams (6-2), Tom Sykes (6-5), Sebastian Bialecki (6-3), Ryan Searle (6-3), Nathan Potter (6-2), Tom Bissell (7-4), and Jermaine Wattimena (8-5) in succession to seal the latest title last Tuesday. Over a 365-day period, Nijman has earned £244,250 in ranking prize money on the Pro Tour, leaving the rest of the global stars trailing far behind.

The biggest climber of the past week is Beau Greaves, who surprisingly claimed the title at Players Championship 11 on Monday after wins over the likes of Rob Cross, Gary Anderson, and Michael Smith. The 22-year-old English player became the first woman to win a PDC ranking title and took home the £15,000 top prize. After the first three months of the Pro Tour season, Greaves is already up to 63rd on the Pro Tour ranking with £35,250.

Gerwyn Price sits second on the Pro Tour ranking with £174,500, having won one floor title and a Euro Tour crown this season. Chris Dobey follows in third on £167,500, while Nathan Aspinall is fourth with £157,750. Stephen Bunting (£150,500) and Ross Smith (£147,750) occupy fifth and sixth respectively, with Danny Noppert seventh on £142,500. Jonny Clayton (£141,250), Luke Humphries (£134,500), and Jermaine Wattimena (£133,250) round out the top ten.

Other significant movers this week include James Wade, who goes from 17th to 11th, and Krzysztof Ratajski, who goes from 20th to 14th. Gary Anderson sits in 24th after another rise, while Kevin Doets is 22nd. Michael Smith has gone from 38th to 33rd. The biggest fallers include Luke Littler, down from 13th to 15th, Martin Schindler from 12th to 23rd, Peter Wright from 39th to 51st, and Michael van Gerwen from 31st to 41st. Dimitri Van den Bergh is in a worrying 86th place and now seems to have to worry about his Tour Card, as he is not virtually qualified for the World Darts Championship and will have to give everything to remain inside the world's top 64 this season.
