Former green jacket winner Jonny Clayton has withdrawn from the Austrian Darts Open, becoming the latest high-profile player to skip the Euro Tour event in Graz. The draw for the tournament, which runs from May 8 to May 10, confirmed Clayton's absence.
Clayton joins a growing list of elite players who have opted out, including Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, Gary Anderson, and Nathan Aspinall. The venue in Graz has historically been difficult to reach, leading to frequent withdrawals from top stars.
Clayton has enjoyed success at the Austrian Darts Open in the past, winning the title in 2018 and 2023. His vacant spot will be taken by Madars Razma, who was the highest-ranked loser in the final round of the Tour Card Holder Qualifier.
