Players Championship 15 gets underway in Leicester today, with a packed ProTour draw and several eye-catching first round ties. The standout tie of the opening round sees Damon Heta take on Beau Greaves. Heta arrives after topping the averages list at Players Championship 14, where he fired in a 110.78 average, while Greaves remains one of the major storylines of the 2026 ProTour after her historic Players Championship 11 title.

There is also immediate attention on Wessel Nijman, who begins against Ricardo Pietreczko. Nijman won Players Championship 14 in Hildesheim with an 8-1 victory over Max Hopp in the final, taking his fifth Players Championship title of the season. Kevin Doets, winner of Players Championship 13, opens against Rob Owen, while Luke Woodhouse, runner-up to Doets in that final, faces Keane Barry. Hopp, who reached the PC14 final, starts his latest campaign against Adam Lipscombe.

Michael van Gerwen begins against Dennie Olde Kalter, while Peter Wright faces Sebastian Bialecki. Michael Smith takes on Leon Weber, Rob Cross meets Ryan Meikle, and James Wade starts against Cristo Reyes. Elsewhere, Stephen Bunting faces Gabriel Clemens in one of the more notable first round ties, while Raymond van Barneveld opens against Derek Coulson. Jonny Clayton takes on Jack Aldridge, Dave Chisnall faces Levy Frauenfelder, and Josh Rock begins against Stephen Burton.

Dirk van Duijvenbode, who hit a nine-darter at Players Championship 13, is drawn against Tytus Kanik, while Andrew Gilding faces Thibault Tricole and Joe Cullen meets Lukas Wenig. The full 64 first round matches are listed below.
