Beau Greaves continued her dominance on the PDC Women's Series on Saturday, winning both Event 9 and Event 10 in Leicester to extend her record tally to 55 titles. The Tour Card holder, who recently won her maiden ProTour event, saw off Karolina Ratajska 5-1 in the final of Event 10. Ratajska, wife of Krzysztof, had her best run yet, having defeated Gemma Hayter 5-3 in the semi-finals.
Greaves' path to the Event 10 title included a 5-4 decider against Deta Hedman, a win over Denise Cassidy, and a semi-final victory over Lisa Ashton. Fallon Sherrock was eliminated in the Last 16, losing 4-2 to Gemma Hayter. Earlier, in Event 9, Greaves defeated Trina Gulliver 5-1 in the final to claim her 54th Women's Series title. Gulliver made a welcome return to the final, but Greaves proved too strong.
Greaves' run in Event 9 included semi-final wins over Lisa Ashton, a quarter-final victory against Lorraine Winstanley, and a win over Felicia Blay, sister of Fallon Sherrock. Sherrock was beaten in an earlier round, meaning both Sherrock sisters fell in quick succession to Greaves. The events took place in Leicester, with two more tournaments scheduled for Sunday.
The Women's Series offers spots at the Women's World Matchplay, the PDC World Darts Championship, and the Grand Slam of Darts, but no Tour Cards for the champion. All action is available on PDCTV or DartConnect. Greaves, who has held a PDC Tour Card since this season, continues to set the standard in women's darts.
