Players Championship 18 gets underway in Leicester on Tuesday, with world number two Luke Humphries opting not to compete just a day after his stunning victory in PC17. The door is now open for other players to seize glory, with a star-studded field including Wessel Nijman, Stephen Bunting, Jonny Clayton, Gian van Veen and Beau Greaves all taking part.

Nijman, who is eyeing a sixth floor title in 2026, leads the charge alongside Bunting, Clayton and Greaves. The event follows a tremendous display by Humphries yesterday, but the PC17 champion has decided to sit out today's action, giving his rivals a golden opportunity to claim the title.

Fans can follow all the action via live scores as the tournament unfolds. The draw for PC18 was released earlier today, confirming Humphries' absence and highlighting Nijman, Greaves and Clayton as the leading names in the field.
