The Baltic Sea Darts Open 2026 is set to take place from 29-31 May at the Wunderino Arena in Kiel, Germany, as the eighth of fifteen PDC European Tour events. The tournament will feature 48 players competing for £230,000 in prize money, with £35,000 going to the winner. Gerwyn Price is the defending champion, having defeated Gary Anderson 8-3 in the 2025 final.

Luke Humphries is set to lead the field as top seed, with Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, and Gerwyn Price among the other top seeds. The full seeded list includes James Wade, Stephen Bunting, Danny Noppert, Ryan Searle, Chris Dobey, Nathan Aspinall, Ross Smith, Martin Schindler, Jermaine Wattimena, Mike De Decker, and Wessel Nijman. Pro Tour Order of Merit qualifiers include Damon Heta, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Luke Woodhouse, Niko Springer, Niels Zonneveld, Krzysztof Ratajski, Daryl Gurney, William O'Connor, Joe Cullen, Ryan Joyce, Kevin Doets, Andrew Gilding, Dave Chisnall, Cameron Menzies, and Karel Sedláček. Tour Card qualifiers are Alan Soutar, Max Hopp, Ricky Evans, Lukas Wenig, James Hurrell, Jeffrey de Zwaan, Ian White, Jimmy van Schie, Sebastian Białecki, and Justin Hood. Host Nation qualifiers include Paul Krohne, Marcel Hausotter, Daniel Klose, and Jason Riedtke. Nordic & Baltic qualifier is Teemu Harju from Finland, and East European qualifier is Nándor Major from Hungary.

The draw will be confirmed on Thursday 28th May at around 12pm BST/1pm CET, with the schedule confirmed at around the same time. Several editors have offered their predictions for the tournament. Samuel Gill, Head Editor for DartsNews.com, sees Michael van Gerwen winning the title, citing that he doesn't see Humphries or Clayton playing given they were in the Premier League Darts play-offs the days before. He also picks Gerwyn Price, Ross Smith, Martin Schindler, and Wessel Nijman as contenders. Lucas Michael, Editor for TennisUpToDate.com, sees Stephen Bunting likely to claim the title, noting that Luke Humphries seems to be getting back to his best and that both Humphries and Price are looking for a second Euro Tour title in 2026. Pieter Verbeek, Editor for DartsNieuws.com, doesn't see a lot of the big names bothering playing, and picks Nathan Aspinall as his top favourite, with Michael van Gerwen and Josh Rock as second favourites. Nicolas Gayer, Editor for DartsNews.DE, sees Luke Humphries winning if he plays, highlighting Humphries' recent form with averages above 100 in nine of his last matches. Mats Leering, Editor for DartsNieuws.com, sees Wessel Nijman as winning the title, with Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey as second favourites. Bram Coenen, Editor for DartsNieuws.com, also picks Humphries for the title, noting that if Humphries competes, he is the clear favourite.
