The Baltic Sea Darts Open 2026 is set to take place from Friday May 29 to Sunday May 31 in Kiel, featuring 48 players competing for a total prize fund of £230,000. Semi-finalists receive £10,000, quarter-finalists £8,000, third-round losers £5,000, second-round losers £3,500, and first-round losers £2,000.
Reigning champion Gerwyn Price will defend his title after a commanding 8-3 win over Gary Anderson just under a year ago. However, Anderson will not appear as he continues his European Tour absence. Luke Littler is also not featuring, but world number two Luke Humphries returns to European Tour action, alongside Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen. Other notable entrants include Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Stephen Bunting, Danny Noppert, Chris Dobey, Nathan Aspinall, and home hero Martin Schindler.
An important detail regarding prize money: the top 16 seeded players qualify directly into the tournament, but if they lose their opening match, the associated prize money is not added to the rankings.
