Luke Humphries will headline the second edition of the BST Hyde Park Darts Championship, set to take place on Wednesday 8 July at the Great Oak Stage in Hyde Park, London. The event, part of the BST Hyde Park Open House festival, returns after a successful debut in 2025 and will feature a knockout tournament alongside entertainment.
Joining Humphries on the oche are Stephen Bunting, Nathan Aspinall, and Fallon Sherrock. Former world champion Humphries will face Premier League rival Bunting, while former World Matchplay winner Aspinall and former Women’s World Matchplay champion Sherrock complete the lineup. In addition to the main tournament, a Pro-Am doubles event will pair the darts players with well-known names from the entertainment world, including Sky Sports presenter Emma Paton, YouTube star Behzinga, presenter Joe Swash, and television personality AJ Odudu.
PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter expressed delight at the event's return, saying: “We’re delighted to see The Hyde Park Darts Championship return following the huge success of last year’s event. Having some of the sport’s biggest stars involved alongside well-known celebrity names creates a fantastic atmosphere and introduces darts to a wider audience in a unique setting. The Great Oak Stage provides an iconic backdrop for the event and we’re looking forward to another memorable evening as part of BST Hyde Park Open House.”
Last year, Humphries won the title by beating Luke Littler in the final. The 2025 results saw Humphries defeat Littler 6–4 in the final, having earlier beaten Sherrock 6–5 in the semi-finals, while Littler overcame Aspinall 6–3 in the other semi. Tickets for this year's event go on general sale at 12pm on Friday 29 May.
