BEAU GREAVES, GARY ANDERSON AND JONNY CLAYTON HANDLE HEADLINE TIES AT PC19

Players Championship 19 takes place today in Milton Keynes, with the full first round draw now confirmed as another PDC ProTour event gets underway. Beau Greaves, Gary Anderson and Jonny Clayton are among the headline names in action, each handed eye-catching opening ties.

Greaves, the history-maker, has been drawn against Jeffrey Sparidaans in the opening round. Anderson, the two-time world champion, returns to the Players Championship circuit and begins against Martin Lukeman. One of the standout ties of the first round comes on Board 16, where Jonny Clayton faces Raymond van Barneveld in a clash that is the most decorated tie of the first round, with the Welshman handed a high-profile start against the five-time world champion.

Wessel Nijman remains the clear leader on the Players Championship Order of Merit and starts against Arno Merk, as the Dutchman looks to continue what has been a dominant 2026 floor campaign. Josh Rock also faces a dangerous opener against Scott Williams, while Stephen Bunting begins against Jack Tweddell and Rob Cross takes on Darius Labanauskas.

Dimitri Van den Bergh, who found a small but notable spark at PC17 after a difficult spell, has been drawn against Krzysztof Ratajski in one of the tougher first round assignments. Peter Wright opens against Leon Weber, while Chris Dobey starts against Henry Coates. Luke Woodhouse, winner of Players Championship 18, begins against Andy Boulton, with Andrew Gilding taking on David Sharp. Kevin Doets faces Harry Ward, Danny Noppert meets Madars Razma, and Damon Heta opens against Marvin van Velzen.

Elsewhere, Dave Chisnall has been drawn against Joe Hunt, Dirk van Duijvenbode takes on James Hurrell, Martin Schindler faces Dominik Gruellich, and Cameron Menzies begins against Sietse Lap. The full first round draw is listed below.
