Jonny Clayton produced the highest average of Players Championship 19, but it was Jeffrey de Graaf who walked away with the title. Clayton averaged a whopping 111.21 in his semi-final victory over Rob Cross, winning 7-4 by taking the final three legs. That performance topped the average list for the event, even though Clayton lost in the final. Cross also impressed with a 105.97 average in that match, the sixth highest of the day.

Clayton's consistency was remarkable — he only had two games where he failed to average over 100, posting a 102.90 in the second round against Niall Culleton and a 103.75 in the third round against Max Hopp. Connor Scutt's 107.53 average in the second round was the third highest of the day, but his 104.42 in the third round was not enough to advance.

The last-16 saw a surge in quality. William O'Connor recorded the second best average of PC19 with a 108.11 to beat Ross Smith 6-2. Luke Woodhouse, the PC18 champion, averaged 106.55 in a 6-2 win over Mervyn King. Rob Cross also won 6-2 with a 106.21 average. Top seed Wessel Nijman averaged 104.07 to defeat James Hurrell 6-1 before falling in the quarter-finals. Adam Gawlas (105.90) and Cristo Reyes (104.25 and 102.20) also featured in the top 16 averages.

Notably, Jeffrey de Graaf was absent from the top averages list. He averaged over 100 only once — in the final — and his day was marred by lower averages. However, de Graaf steadily improved and got over the line, proving that timing is a virtue. Many of the big-averaging last-16 players could not replicate their form in later rounds, while de Graaf found his best when it mattered most.
