SLOVAK DARTS OPEN 2026 PRIZE MONEY REVEALED: £35,000 FOR WINNER IN BRATISLAVA

The European Tour returns with a new stop on the calendar as the Slovak Darts Open takes place in Bratislava from Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21. The ninth edition of this year's Euro Tour features 48 players competing for a total prize fund of £230,000, with £35,000 reserved for the champion.

Notable absentees include Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, who are focusing on the US Darts Masters, but a strong field is still assembled. Gian van Veen is the number one seed, followed closely by Michael van Gerwen. Other top names making the trip include Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, and Gary Anderson. 'The Flying Scotsman' rarely competes on the European Tour but sees an opportunity to become the first ever champion in Slovakia.

Previous 2026 European Tour winners Nathan Aspinall, Ross Smith, and Wessel Nijman are also in the draw, while Chris Dobey, Ryan Searle, Jermaine Wattimena, and Kevin Doets are all seeking their first title. Luke Woodhouse, who broke new ground at the Baltic Sea Darts Open, aims for back-to-back triumphs.

The prize money distribution is as follows: winner £35,000, runner-up £15,000, semi-finalists £10,000, quarter-finalists £8,000, third round £5,000, second round £3,500, and first round £2,000. An important detail: seeded players who lose their opening match do not have that prize money added to their rankings, while qualifiers who become seeded due to withdrawals will see their earnings count towards the rankings.

The prize money in Bratislava counts towards the PDC Order of Merit, the Pro Tour Order of Merit, and specifically the European Tour Order of Merit, which determines qualification for the later event in Dortmund.
