Former BDO world champion Jelle Klaasen has signed with Mach Darts Management, linking up with Marco Vrolijk and Ronnie Rickner. The 41-year-old Dutchman, who claimed the BDO world title in 2006, will benefit from a tailored programme designed to guide him into the next phase of his career.
Klaasen expressed enthusiasm after initial talks, stating, "We had a great conversation, and I genuinely feel that the way Mach Darts operates and supports its players is exactly what I need at this point in my career." He emphasized a step-by-step approach, focusing on gradual improvement rather than quick results. "I really appreciate where they, as a management team, put the emphasis, and I believe this is the right environment to take my next steps. Right now we’re calmly working to bring my game back to the level I know I can reach, step by step, with a clear eye on the future."
