The World Series of Darts Finals is underway at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam, running from 17-20 September 2026, and Sunday afternoon will see Luke Littler take on Jonny Clayton in a highly anticipated clash. The tournament, now in its 12th edition as the season-ending event after six unranked events, has already delivered plenty of drama.
Michael van Gerwen, the defending champion and top seed, enters the weekend as the man to beat. He defeated Luke Littler in the 2025 final to claim his sixth title. Van Gerwen's path to the top seed included victories in Bahrain and Copenhagen, as well as a runner-up finish in Riyadh. Other event winners this season include Luke Humphries in New York, Jonny Clayton in Auckland, James Wade in Wollongong, and Littler, who defeated Van Gerwen in that Riyadh final. Despite skipping the US event, Van Gerwen still finished top of the Order of Merit.
The seeded players for the Finals are Price, Littler, Humphries, Gian van Veen, Clayton, Wade, and Stephen Bunting. Qualifiers through the World Series rankings include Nathan Aspinall, Josh Rock, Damon Heta, Danny Noppert, Jim Long, Ross Smith, Ben Robb, and Simon Whitlock. Ryan Searle, Wessel Nijman, Chris Dobey, and Jermaine Wattimena are the next best placed on the Order of Merit. Rob Cross, Kevin Doets, Dirk van Duijvenbode, and Daryl Gurney lead the Tour Card qualifiers. Man Lok Leung, Lourence Ilagan, and Alexis Toylo were due to play, but only Motomu Sakai out of the Asian stars will appear due to visa issues.
The first round took place over 17-18 September with two sessions both starting at 6pm. The second round is being held on Saturday across two sessions starting at 12pm and 6pm. The latter is an earlier start for UK viewers given the European location, meaning it will finish earlier than usual UK majors. Sunday's action begins with the quarter-finals from 12:00-16:00 BST, followed by the semi-finals and final also from 12:00-16:00 BST.
For UK fans, the entire tournament is being shown on ITV4 and ITVX, the free-to-air platform. Internationally, coverage is available on Viaplay in the Netherlands, DAZN in Germany, and for those without coverage, on PDCTV as part of the monthly subscription package or annual for around £50 a year. Tickets are also available for fans wanting to attend in person.
