The PDC Pro Tour continues with Players Championship 29 and 30 set for Den Bosch on Tuesday September 22 and Wednesday September 23, with both events running from 12:00 to 18:00 and streamed live on PDCTV. The tournaments mark a first visit to Den Bosch at Maaspoort, as ProTour darts returns to Holland for the first time in a long while.
The 2026 Players Championship series comprises 34 events in all, taking place at Halle 39 in Hildesheim, Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan, Leicester Arena in the same city, Arena MK in Milton Keynes, and Maaspoort in Den Bosch. Leicester populates the vast majority of these tournaments. The season continued on August 25-26 with Players Championship 27 and 28 in Leicester.
Fans can watch all matches on the four main boards live via PDCTV, the PDC's official streaming channel. Subscription options include a monthly pass (£9.99), an annual subscription (£59.99) or a flexible multi-day short-use pass. This gives fans a unique opportunity to experience the Players Championship tournaments up close - the floor tournaments where new stars emerge and established names sometimes lose out surprisingly early.
The field will feature a mix of big names throughout the year, but as ever this will be subject to change with Premier League players in particular likely to pick and choose. Luke Littler and Luke Humphries for instance have either said they will in part skip ones or only play in Wigan. Other top names have also previously snubbed playing in Germany due to the travel. So who will play in them is always a mixed bag but expect Littler, Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price at junctures throughout the year.
The main goal is to qualify for the Players Championship Finals in Minehead that take place towards the back end of 2026 before the PDC World Darts Championship. Littler and co had issues qualifying last year so it always gives an additional dynamic with the race to the finish.
Following the Den Bosch double-header, the ProTour heads to Den Bosch again for Players Championship 31 on Wednesday October 28 and Players Championship 32 on Thursday October 29, both from 12:00 to 18:00 on PDCTV. The series concludes in Leicester with Players Championship 33 on Wednesday November 4 and Players Championship 34 on Thursday November 5, both running from 13:00 to 19:00 on PDCTV.
