The World Grand Prix returns to the Mattioli Arena in Leicester from Monday 28 September to Sunday 4 October, with 32 players set to battle it out in one of the most highly anticipated major tournaments of the season. The event, which formerly took place at the Citywest in Dublin, moved to Leicester when the Citywest was out of action during the COVID-19 pandemic and has remained there ever since.
The tournament's signature Double In, Double Out format means players must start on a double and end on a double. The field comprises the top 16 players in the PDC Order of Merit and the top 16 players from the one-year PDC ProTour rankings who had not yet qualified. Luke Littler leads the field and is the defending champion, having seen off Luke Humphries 6-1 in the 2025 final. However, Littler lost last year's final 11-7 to Michael van Gerwen. Joining Littler and Humphries among the top 16 are Gian van Veen, Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, James Wade and Gary Anderson. The ProTour contingent is led by Luke Woodhouse and Kevin Doets, with Cameron Menzies, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Dave Chisnall, Joe Cullen and Rob Cross among the 16 ProTour stars.
The action gets underway with the first round across Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 September, with two sessions both starting at 6pm. The second round follows on Wednesday 30 September and Thursday 1 October, again over two sessions, this time starting at 7pm. The quarter-finals take place on Friday 2 October from 7pm, while the final two sessions on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October begin at 8pm.

Further afield, coverage is available on Viaplay in the Netherlands and DAZN in Germany, while those without coverage can watch on PDCTV as part of the monthly subscription package or annually for around £50 a year.
