The PDC European Tour will break new ground in 2027, expanding to ten different countries and fifteen cities for the first time in its history. The headline addition is Liévin, which will host the first-ever PDC event on French soil, while Belgium’s Ghent also joins the calendar as a new host city.
According to PDC Europe, the new stops underline the growth the Tour has achieved in recent years, with more European darts fans able to watch the sport’s biggest names on home soil. “The European Tour has grown continuously in recent years, in standard, attendance, and geographically. Visiting ten countries and fifteen cities for the first time in 2027 is a major milestone for PDC Europe,” said PDC Europe President Werner von Moltke. “With Ghent and Liévin, we welcome two new European Tour venues and look forward to writing new chapters in darts history there together with the fans,” he added.
The season opens in Kiel with the Baltic Sea Darts Open from 12–14 February, followed by the Poland Darts Open in Krakow (19–21 February) and the International Darts Open in Riesa (26–28 February). History will then be made in Liévin with the Darts Grand Prix de France from 19–21 March. The traditional Easter weekend in München follows with the German Darts Grand Prix (27–29 March), then the European Darts Grand Prix in Sindelfingen (2–4 April) and the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen (16–18 April). Graz gets a first as the European Tour lands in the larger Stadthalle for the Austrian Darts Open (7–9 May), before the Czech Darts Open in Prague (21–23 May) and the German Darts Open in Leverkusen (9–11 July), which returns under a new yet familiar name.
The PDC then returns to Bratislava for the second time with the Slovak Darts Open (27–29 August), before Ghent makes its debut as a host city with the Belgian Darts Open (3–5 September). The final three European Tour stops in 2027 are the Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel (10–12 September), the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest (8–10 October), and the Dutch Darts Championship in Maastricht (15–17 October).
