The World Grand Prix continues at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, and Thursday evening's second-round session features a highly anticipated clash between James Wade and Stephen Bunting, scheduled to start at 20:15 BST. The tournament runs from Monday 28 September to Sunday 4 October, with the unique double-in, double-out format requiring players to start and finish on a double.

Thursday's action begins at 19:15 with Niels Zonneveld taking on Gary Anderson in a second-round tie. Following the Wade-Bunting encounter, Luke Humphries faces Jermaine Wattimena at 21:15, and Gian van Veen meets Ryan Searle at 22:15. The second round is being played across Wednesday 30 September and Thursday 1 October, with both sessions starting at 7pm.

The tournament features 32 players: the top 16 in the PDC Order of Merit and the top 16 from the one-year PDC ProTour rankings who had not yet qualified. Luke Littler leads the field as defending champion, having defeated Luke Humphries 6-1 in the 2025 final. Littler lost last year’s final 11-7 to Michael van Gerwen. The top 16 also includes Gian van Veen, Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, James Wade and Gary Anderson. The ProTour contingent is led by Luke Woodhouse and Kevin Doets, with Cameron Menzies, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Dave Chisnall, Joe Cullen and Rob Cross among the 16 ProTour stars.

The World Grand Prix was formerly held at the Citywest in Dublin before moving to Leicester when the Citywest was out of action during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it has remained there ever since. The first round took place on 28-29 September with two sessions both starting at 6pm. The quarter-finals are on Friday 2 October from 7pm, while the semi-finals on Saturday 3 October and the final on Sunday 4 October both start at 8pm.

Fans can watch the tournament throughout on Sky Sports. International coverage includes Viaplay in the Netherlands and DAZN in Germany. For those without coverage, it is available on PDCTV as part of the monthly subscription package or annual for around £50 a year, which also gives fans the chance to buy tickets.
