Michael van Gerwen has taken an eye-catching cameo in the announcement of a new track by Maradonnie and Justen de Wildt, with the Dutch top darter featuring in a short video used by the duo to spotlight the release. The track drops on 02.10.2026.
In the video, the pair run through a checklist to make sure everything is set for the party, ticking off the essentials one by one. Sound, a party tent, guests and snacks are all sorted. One crucial item, though, is still missing — Justen de Wildt points out there is no microphone yet. In other words: a "mic."
That sets up the perfect link to the surprise guest. Van Gerwen suddenly appears on screen, leaning into his nickname "Mighty Mike," playing the word gag to perfection and putting everyone at ease. "Mic, that's here," says Van Gerwen. With this brief cameo, the three-time world champion takes a striking role in promoting the new track by Maradonnie and Justen de Wildt.
