The second edition of the PDC Nordic & Baltic Championship will be played from 06-11. to 08-11. at the Odense Congress Center in Denmark, where 24 players will compete for the Jann Hoffmann Trophy and two major berths. The tournament debuted last year with Finland's Teemu Harju lifting the title, and Harju returns to defend his crown. For the first time, the Odense Congress Center provides the stage for the three-day event.
The field features the top 24 players from the final PDC Nordic & Baltic ProTour Ranking. Among the entrants are Daniel Larsson, Cor Dekker, Jani Haavisto, Oskar Lukasiak, Andreas Harrysson, Darius Labanauskas, and Viktor Tingström.
There is plenty at stake for the winner. The new champion not only secures the Jann Hoffmann Trophy but also earns a place at the World Darts Championship. In addition, the winner will compete at the Grand Slam of Darts in November.
The 24 participants will be split into eight groups of three for the opening phase. Group matches start on Friday, 06.11., and conclude across two sessions on Saturday, 07.11. Only the eight group winners advance to finals day. On Sunday, 08.11., the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final will be played in sequence. By close of play, we will know who succeeds Harju—or whether the Finn successfully defends his title.
