Gerwyn Price is through to the final at the World Grand Prix, where he will face either Luke Humphries or James Wade, but his post-match comments were aimed squarely at Nathan Aspinall after supposedly 'The Asp' complained about the crowd. Price revealed he had words with Aspinall, telling him the crowd was on his side and to just play darts.

"Nathan was complaining about the crowd, but they were on his side," said Price on stage after his win. "I'm 3-0 up, and I go back and say to Nathan, 'They're on your side, bud. Come on.' Stop performing on the board and just play darts."

Price admitted he was upset with Aspinall's attitude, believing he was playing up to the crowd rather than focusing on the game. "I was a little bit upset with him. As good as the crowd is for me, they were all for him. He's performing a little bit on stage; I told him I wasn't happy."

Despite the stern words, Price emphasised their friendship but offered advice. "I'm great friends with Nathan, but sometimes you've just got to let your darts go. When you're losing, you're losing. I was frustrated 90% of that game, and it's not good."

In the end, Price powered into a fourth final in this tournament courtesy of a dominant win over Nathan Aspinall 5-2. Aspinall will be thinking about what could have been as he was seen getting more and more frustrated on the Oche. Sky at a point had to apologize for him swearing at the board, which was heard by the camera, which is bound to get him reprimanded by the DRA in the not too distant future.
