Luke Humphries ended his wait for a major title by coming from behind to beat Gerwyn Price and lift the World Grand Prix trophy. The victory marks his first major crown since the 2025 Premier League and lifts him to outright fifth on the list of all-time PDC major winners.
The comeback win over Price adds another chapter to Humphries' rivalry with the Welshman and reinforces his status among the sport's elite. The World Grand Prix title is the latest addition to a résumé that already includes the 2025 Premier League.
With the win, Humphries moves clear into fifth place on the all-time PDC major winners' list, a testament to his consistency on the biggest stages.
Attention now turns to the Grand Slam of Darts, which will be shown live on Sky Sports from November 14. Humphries will be among the favourites as he looks to build on his World Grand Prix success.
