The Swiss Darts Trophy reaches its climax on Sunday, October 11 in Basel, with Jonny Clayton set to face Luke Humphries in the final. The tournament, the 14th event on this year's European Tour, runs from Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11 and serves as the penultimate event before the Dutch Darts Trophy in Maastricht closes out the season.

The final takes place in Sunday's evening session, which begins at 18:00 CET (17:00 GMT). Across the tournament, afternoon sessions start daily at 12:00 PM BST, while evening play throws off at 6:00 PM BST. Matches can be followed live on PDC TV, with the tournament spread over three days featuring an afternoon and evening session each day.

Clayton booked his place in the final with a 7-4 victory over Gian van Veen in the semifinals, having earlier produced a 105.00 average in a 6-2 quarterfinal win over Karel Sedlacek. Humphries, the top seed, defeated Mensur Suljovic 7-4 in the other semifinal after a 6-3 quarterfinal win over Cristo Reyes, in which Humphries averaged 100.40 to Reyes' 98.98. The quarterfinals also saw Van Veen edge Bradley Brooks 6-5, and Suljovic beat Dirk van Duijvenbode 6-1 with a 102.03 average.

Humphries leads the field as top seed alongside Gian van Veen, Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Michael van Gerwen, Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price. Luke Woodhouse leads the ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers alongside Kevin Doets, Andrew Gilding, Rob Cross, Niko Springer, Joe Cullen, Cameron Menzies and Damon Heta among others. The Tour Card Holder Qualifier contingent includes Mensur Suljovic, Michael Smith, Raymond van Barneveld and Cristo Reyes. Stephen Bunting is the defending champion after defeating Luke Woodhouse 8-3 in the 2025 final.

The big names entered the tournament on Saturday, facing ProTour players or qualifiers who battled it out on Friday, meaning Saturday night was the first realistic chance to catch most of the stars in action. From the latter stages, the draw moves into bracket order, with the winner of each game facing the next in the quarterfinals, making the narrative easier to follow.
