Beau Greaves ended the 2026 PDC Women's Series season in spectacular fashion, winning both of Sunday's final tournaments in Wigan to take her total to 63 titles on the women's circuit. The 22-year-old Englishwoman also set a remarkable record during the 23rd tournament, recording an average of 98.75 across seven matches – no player had ever won a Women's Series tournament with such a high event average. Sweden's Vicky Pruim also had reason to celebrate after securing the final available World Championship ticket.
Greaves had already been the strongest player twice on Saturday, but raised her level even further on the final day. The three-time Women's World Matchplay champion was virtually unstoppable, especially during Sunday's opening tournament. She began with four consecutive victories without conceding a single leg, beating Jody Hancock, Steph Clarke, Ruby Grey and Rebecca Allen all 4-0. Greaves averaged 100.20 against Hancock and went even higher against Clarke, recording 103.66. She did not concede her first legs until the quarter-finals, where Gemma Hayter managed to win two legs before Greaves won 5-2. Fallon Sherrock awaited in the semi-finals, but she too could do little against the scoring power of her compatriot, as Greaves won 5-0 with an average of 102.56. Jade Gofford, in her first Women's Series final, had earned her place by defeating Laura Turner, Rhian O'Sullivan and Lisa Ashton, but Greaves proved too strong, winning 5-3 with three consecutive legs in 12, 13 and 14 darts. Gofford collected £1,000 in prize money.
Greaves was not finished after her record-breaking performance. During the 24th and final Women's Series tournament of the season, she continued her winning run, eliminating Laura van den Berg, Sara Walton, Vicky Martin and Lauren Bloomfield without conceding a leg. She faced Rebecca Allen again in the quarter-finals with the same outcome, then beat Kirsty Hutchinson in a semi-final whitewash. In the final, Aurora Fochesato awaited – the 20-year-old Italian had already made history by becoming the first player from Italy to reach a Women's Series final. However, Greaves won 5-2 to secure her 63rd title, conceding just three legs throughout the tournament. With four titles from four tournaments, Greaves enjoyed a perfect closing weekend in Wigan.
It remains uncertain whether Greaves will appear on the Women's Series again in 2027. If she establishes herself among the top 64 players in the PDC world rankings, she will no longer be eligible to compete on the women's circuit. Alongside Greaves' achievements, Sunday in Wigan also focused on the final qualifying places for the PDC World Darts Championship. Vicky Pruim secured the final available ticket through the Women's Series final standings, making history as the first Swedish woman to compete at the World Darts Championship in Alexandra Palace. Beau Greaves, Lisa Ashton, Fallon Sherrock and Gemma Hayter have also secured World Championship places through the women's circuit.
The final standings brought an additional reward for Ashton. The four-time women's world champion also qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts, which will be played next month. Ashton earned the place as the highest-ranked player in the Women's Series standings who had not already qualified for the tournament. She will join Greaves at the prestigious event which runs from November 14-22 in Wolverhampton.
