Luke Littler's bid to win the one major title still missing from his career came to a stunning end on Sunday, as he was unable to recover from a nightmare start in his quarter-final defeat to Ratajski.
Littler had been chasing the European crown, the one major he has yet to take in his career, but found himself on the back foot after losing seven of the first eight legs of Sunday's quarter-final. That blistering opening from Ratajski left Littler with a mountain to climb, and the recovery never came.
The defeat ends Littler's hopes of completing his major collection on this occasion, with Ratajski advancing to the semi-finals at Littler's expense.
