WATTIMENA'S IRON MAN RUN: DUTCHMAN HITS 108 CONSECUTIVE PROTOUR EVENTS

Jermaine Wattimena has extended an impressive run of consistency, having now competed in 108 consecutive ProTour events. The Dutchman has not missed a tournament on the floor circuit or European Tour for more than two years, with his last absence coming at the Hungarian Darts Trophy in 2024.

Since then, Wattimena has been a regular on the ProTour. The 38-year-old Dutchman played every Players Championship event and European Tour tournament on the calendar, setting him apart from many other players who regularly skip events during the season. In 2026, he competed in all 34 Players Championship tournaments and all 15 European Tour events.

Only three other players can match that attendance record this season. Dirk van Duijvenbode, William O'Connor and Krzysztof Ratajski also appeared at all 49 ProTour events in 2026. Alongside Wattimena, they are the only four players not to have missed a single event this year.

In 2025, five players competed in all 48 ProTour events. Alongside Wattimena, they were Dave Chisnall, Wessel Nijman, Raymond van Barneveld and Luke Woodhouse. A year earlier, seven players managed to avoid missing a single event, including Danny Noppert, Gian van Veen, Van Barneveld and Damon Heta.

The figures also show that competing in every ProTour event is no easy feat. In 2023, only Damon Heta and Martin Schindler appeared at all 43 tournaments. In 2022, Rob Cross was the sole player to do so, according to statistics from TheRedBit.
