The European Darts Grand Prix 2026, the fifth event of the PDC European Tour this season, is set to take place from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19 in Sindelfingen. A total of £230,000 in prize money will be distributed throughout the tournament, with every player guaranteed £2,000 just for playing, and the champion earning £35,000. The event is part of a series of 14 tournaments played across Europe.
Defending champion Gary Anderson will return to Sindelfingen in a line-up that also features Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, and Gerwyn Price. Luke Littler and Luke Humphries have decided against playing once again. The prize money distribution includes £15,000 for the runner-up, £10,000 for semi-finalists, £8,000 for quarter-finalists, £5,000 for third-round losers, £3,500 for second-round losers, and £2,000 for first-round losers.
An important detail at European Tour events concerns seeded players who qualify directly into the second round as top 16 players. If they lose their opening match, the associated prize money is not added to the rankings. In contrast, qualifiers who are subsequently designated as seeded players due to withdrawals will see their earned prize money reflected on the rankings. The prize money impacts multiple rankings, counting towards the PDC Order of Merit, the Pro Tour Order of Merit, and especially the European Tour Order of Merit, which determines qualification later in the season for Dortmund and seeding for the European Championship.
