CLAYTON CLAIMS NIGHT 11 TRIUMPH IN ROTTERDAM, LITTLER BATTLES HOSTILE CROWD TO FINAL

Jonny Clayton secured his fourth nightly win of the 2026 Premier League Darts season with a 6-4 victory over Luke Littler in the Night 11 final in Rotterdam. Clayton produced a composed display in the decider, breaking at a key moment before finishing the job on tops to seal the win. The night was also shaped by Littler's response to a hostile crowd at Rotterdam Ahoy, just a week on from his clash with Gian van Veen, as he was met with heavy jeers throughout the evening but still fought his way into the final.

Littler opened his night with a 6-3 win over Gerwyn Price in a hostile atmosphere, sealing victory with a clinical 124 checkout on the bull. He then edged a dramatic 6-5 semi-final win over Luke Humphries, who forced a deciding leg with a 13-dart break before Littler held his nerve with the darts, cleaning up 80 on D10. Clayton's route to the final saw him stun the Rotterdam crowd with a 6-2 quarter-final win over home favourite Michael van Gerwen, sealed with a brilliant 170 checkout, before he came through a tense 6-5 semi-final against Josh Rock, who forced a decider with a superb 142 finish but missed chances at D12 and D6.

The final began with Littler racing into a 2-0 lead, opening with an 11-dart leg and firing in three maximums early. Clayton responded by breaking back to level at 2-2, then took control of the middle phase, with a crucial break in the seventh leg shifting the balance firmly in his favour. A clinical 78 finish moved Clayton within one leg of victory, and although Littler briefly delayed the outcome by holding throw, Clayton sealed the 6-4 win by pinning tops after missing it for a 131 finish.

Night 11 proved disappointing for the home crowd, with both Dutch representatives eliminated early. Gian van Veen fell 6-2 to Luke Humphries, who produced a clinical display, while Michael van Gerwen was knocked out 6-2 by Clayton despite opening with a 122 checkout on the bull. Elsewhere, Josh Rock continued his strong form with a dominant 6-1 win over Stephen Bunting, and Humphries' semi-final exit offered encouragement as he pushed Littler all the way to a deciding leg.
