KIM HUYBRECHTS POWERS PAST VAN DUIJVENBODE IN EUROPEAN DARTS GRAND PRIX FIRST ROUND

The 2026 European Darts Grand Prix continued on Friday evening in Sindelfingen with eight first round ties as the latest event on the European Tour calendar rolled on. Kim Huybrechts powered past Dirk van Duijvenbode in one of the matches, continuing his recent resurgence.

Raymond van Barneveld faced Cameron Menzies in the standout tie of the session, while Peter Wright and Joe Cullen also began their campaigns. The action followed an afternoon session that saw Rob Cross dumped out and Wessel Nijman continue his recent form.

The tournament is part of a busy darts schedule, with other recent events including Jonny Clayton extending his lead over Luke Littler with a fourth nightly win in the Premier League Darts 2026, and Luke Littler winning an exhibition tournament in Bournemouth after a rarely seen 150 checkout via three bullseyes.
