LITTLER THRASHES CLAYTON TO CLOSE GAP AT TOP OF PREMIER LEAGUE TABLE

Luke Littler produced a stunning performance at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on Night Twelve of the 2026 Premier League Darts, defeating Jonny Clayton 6-1 in the final with a 104.54 average to close the gap at the top of the table. The victory saw Littler claim his fourth nightly win of the campaign, moving to 29 points, just three behind leader Clayton who remains on 32 points.

Littler's path to the title began with a 6-2 quarter-final win over Luke Humphries (97.22 average to Humphries' 99.39), followed by a dramatic 6-5 semi-final victory over Michael van Gerwen, who averaged 107.54 to Littler's 102.06. In the final, Littler was dominant, averaging 104.54 to Clayton's 99.16. Clayton had earlier beaten Stephen Bunting 6-5 in the quarters and Gian van Veen 6-5 in the semis.

The night also saw Gian van Veen defeat Gerwyn Price 6-4 in the quarter-finals, while Michael van Gerwen beat Josh Rock 6-3. The table after Night Twelve shows Clayton top with 32 points (4 nightly wins, 19 matches won), Littler second with 29 (4 wins, 16 matches won), Gerwyn Price third with 19 (2 wins), and Michael van Gerwen fourth with 18 (1 win). Luke Humphries sits sixth with 13 points and no nightly wins, his play-off hopes fading.

The Premier League continues on April 30 with Night Thirteen at the P&J Live in Aberdeen, where the quarter-finals include Josh Rock vs Luke Littler, Stephen Bunting vs Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton vs Gian van Veen, and Luke Humphries vs Michael van Gerwen. The top four after 16 nights will qualify for Finals Night at The O2 in London on May 28.
