Sky Sports Darts pundit Mark Webster is set to return to commentary duties for Thursday's Premier League Darts event in Birmingham, following an improvement in his condition. Webster revealed he has been diagnosed with hairy cell leukaemia and has not worked since starting chemotherapy in January.
Webster, a former world champion, has been undergoing treatment for the rare form of blood cancer. The 43-year-old Welshman said things have improved, allowing him to resume his role with Sky Sports for the first time since his diagnosis.
Webster's return will be a welcome boost for fans and colleagues alike, as he prepares to provide expert analysis at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Thursday night.
