A stacked evening of first round action in the International Darts Open is set to take place in Riesa. The race to Blackpool is really hotting up for the likes of Rob Cross and Dave Chisnall who are desperate to get a win on the board. The likes of Kevin Doets, Joe Cullen, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Daryl Gurney and Niko Springer take to the stage, with Charlie Manby making his Euro Tour debut.

Rob Cross defeated Dirk van Duijvenbode in a last-leg thriller to kick off the Friday evening session. The match went down to the wire, with Cross eventually prevailing in a tense decider. The victory will be a huge boost for Cross as he looks to secure his place in Blackpool.

In other action, Krzysztof Ratajski left it late to strike a definitive blow against Cristo Reyes. The Polish star showed his class to overcome the Spanish challenge in a hard-fought contest. The International Darts Open continues with more first round matches, and fans can follow all the action via live scores.
