Sebastian Bialecki made history on Saturday in Milton Keynes on the Winmau Development Tour. The Polish darter put together a remarkable run of no fewer than 38 matches without defeat, breaking the previous record held by Wessel Nijman, who once won 23 consecutive games.
Earlier in the day, Bialecki had already claimed the title at Event 13, securing his fourth consecutive crown on the PDC’s youth and development circuit. The 22-year-old Pole has been in outstanding form for weeks and has now won five of the fourteen Development Tour tournaments of 2026.
The Pole began Saturday with a streak of 26 straight victories and added nine more wins to lock in his historic fourth title in a row. On his way to that triumph, Bialecki was barely troubled. In his first three matches, he dropped only two legs against Dylan Slevin, Jay Brack, and Nigel Coudeville. Owen Roelofs couldn’t halt the Pole either, while Connor Hopkins came closest to an upset in the last 32. Bialecki survived a match dart and ultimately edged it in a deciding leg.
He then took out former UK Open quarter-finalist Jamai van den Herik, Florian Pries, and David Fidler in succession to reach another final. In the decider, Leon Weber was the next casualty of the rampant Pole, going down 5-2. The story didn’t end there, though. In Event 14, Bialecki added three more wins, extending his extraordinary streak to 38 consecutive victories. In doing so, he shattered Wessel Nijman’s old record.
However, the title at Event 14 ultimately did not go to Bialecki. That honor went to Cameron Crabtree, who capped a strong day in Milton Keynes by securing his first Development Tour title of 2026. The streak eventually came to an end when Bialecki lost to Angelo Balsamo 4-1, as confirmed by the PDC on social media.
