WORLD GRAND PRIX: WADE SETS UP VAN VEEN QUARTER-FINAL AS ANDERSON AND LITTLER EXIT

The World Grand Prix in Leicester continues live on Sky Sports until Sunday, with the double-in, double-out format delivering shocks and setting up a mouth-watering quarter-final between Gian van Veen and James Wade on Friday night.

Defending champion Luke Littler was knocked out by Luke Woodhouse on opening night, while Gary Anderson has also been eliminated. Luke Humphries, meanwhile, has booked his place in the last eight.

Friday night's action sees James Wade take on Stephen Bunting, with the winner facing Gian van Veen in the quarter-finals. Van Veen and Wade both secured their spots in the last eight with victories on Thursday.

The tournament runs until Sunday, with all the action live on Sky Sports.
