LUKE LITTLER CLINCHES BOURNEMOUTH EXHIBITION TITLE WITH RARE 150 BULLSEYE CHECKOUT

Luke Littler convincingly claimed the title at the South Coast Showdown II exhibition tournament last weekend in Bournemouth. The event, held at the BIC Arena, featured eight well-known darters: Littler, Josh Rock, Cristo Reyes, Damon Heta, Terry Jenkins, Scott Mitchell, Danny Noppert, and Alan Warriner-Little. Gerwyn Price was originally set to appear but withdrew, with Noppert flown in as his replacement.

In the quarterfinals, Noppert lost 5-4 to Scott Mitchell, while Damon Heta fell 5-4 to Cristo Reyes. Josh Rock swept Terry Jenkins 5-0, and Luke Littler whitewashed Alan Warriner-Little 5-0. Reyes then defeated Mitchell in the semifinals, and Littler beat Rock 5-2 to set up the final.

Littler saved his best for last in the championship match, winning 6-2 against Reyes. The two-time world champion even produced a rarely seen 150 checkout by hitting the bullseye three times to seal his victory in style.
