CROSS LEADS PENULTIMATE ROUND AS GREAVES AND VAN DEN BERGH FALL IN INTERNATIONAL DARTS OPEN QUALIFIER

The International Darts Open, scheduled for May 22-24 in Riesa, saw its final Tour Card qualifier unfold on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with Rob Cross emerging as a standout in the penultimate round. The event is the seventh European Tour stop of the 2026 season, and today marked the last chance for PDC Tour Card holders to secure their spots.

Notable players in action included Beau Greaves, Peter Wright, Dimitri Van den Bergh, Justin Hood, Mensur Suljovic, Charlie Manby, and Scott Williams. However, Greaves and Van den Bergh were eliminated during the qualifier, failing to advance to the later stages.

Cross now leads the line-up heading into the penultimate round, positioning himself strongly for a place in the main tournament. The qualifier results set the stage for the upcoming European Tour event in Riesa, where the remaining contenders will vie for glory.
